let's walk through this crazy life together by the truth & hope in God's word

We have enjoyed being outdoors worshipping with our community. We will continue to hold our Sunday service outdoors starting at 9:30 a.m. If it rains, we will simply move indoors to the sanctuary. We will have extra chairs on hand, but feel free to bring your comfortable lawn chairs. See you this Sunday!

As of June 1, 2020 we are meeting in-person and online for Sunday services and weekly growth groups.

Jesus changes lives, especially how we worship Him!  He changes how we worship, inside and outside, spiritually and physically. We are very excited to “re-launch” our in-person Sunday services and weekly growth groups as follows:

Sunday morning worship service

· Time- 9:30 a.m. (we are getting started a little later)

· Location- our building parking lot.  Yes, we are worshipping outside! We will also live stream the service for those who wish to join us from home.

· Incase of rain, we will relocate to Facebook Live.  We will post a notification no later than 8:30 a.m. if we cannot meet in-person.

· Parking- please park on Sycamore Street and be mindful of driveways.

We always strive to love our neighbors as ourselves and we have some new recommendations that we ask you to follow for the well-being,health, and safety of all who join us for worship:

1.  Please bring your own bibles and a pen/pencil for note taking.

2.  We have chairs that are available for use, but we encourage you to bring your own to be comfortable and limit cleaning needs.

3. Bring along your favorite coffee and whatever snacks you would like to enjoy during the service. We will not be providing these just yet.

4.  Since we will be outside, masks will not be required. However, please maintain a responsible 6ft. social distance, especially while we are singing.

5.  For the time being, there will be no children’s ministry. We love our children and we are happy to have them in service with us. Planto sit together and bring an activity for them to do. Please keep your kids with you throughout the service and during any fellowship time following.

6.  The restroom near the kitchen will be open for use. There will be cleaning supplies available and we ask each person to please disinfect for the next user.

7.  We are having communion!  We have individual factory pre-made and sterilized communion cups that will be distributed to each person along with your Sunday bulletin. Instructions will be given on how and when to take communion together as a church.

8.  We will not pass around an offering plate on Sunday, but will have an offering box located near the stage when we disperse. We also take online offerings via our website www.gospellifegenoa.com, on the GIVE tab.

9.  Come excited to praise the Lord and worship Him together!

Growth groups

All groups will be held both in person and via ZOOM to encourage everyone’s participation.

Weekly groups will meet as follows:

· Women– Monday @6:30 p.m. at the Genoa Guest House (outside only)

· Men– Thursday @6:30 p.m. at our building on Sycamore St. (inside the fellowship hall or outside if the weather is nice)

Like our worship service, we have some new recommendations that we ask you to follow for the well-being, health, andsafety of all who join us:

1.  Please bring your own bibles and a pen/pencil for note taking.

2.  We have chairs that are available for use when we are outdoors, but we encourage you to bring your own to be comfortable and limit cleaning needs.

3. Bring along your favorite beverage and whatever snacks you would like to enjoy during the meeting time. Please refrain from sharing snacks just yet.

4.  When we are outside, masks will not be required, but please maintain a responsible 6ft.social distance. When we are inside masks are required for all those above age 2.

5.  For the time being, the nursery and children’s room will not be accessible. This includes the changing area and toys. Please bring items for children to enjoy from home.

6. While it can be challenging to navigate, for the safety of all we ask that children remain with their own families throughout meetings.

7.  The restroom near the kitchen will be open for use. There will be cleaning supplies available and we ask each person to please disinfect for the next user.

We are excited to worship together again and I look forward to seeing you. Please note we anticipate worshiping in the sanctuary starting June 28, when needed.  Please contact me with any questions you may have.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Eric Groce
