CHRIS RIGGS

Church Elder

Chris and his wife Dina joined Gospel Life Bible Church in July of 2021 and was voted in as an Elder in July of 2023.  Chris accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and has participated in various ministries throughout his entire life.  Several years ago, Chris found his calling in ministry when he led a Bible study group focusing on making relatable biblical applications, and eventually coached other group leaders in this style of teaching.  Connecting others to a deeper connection with Jesus and building up Christian discernment is the backbone behind all of Chris’s leadership and teaching.  Being often times moved to tears, Chris has a deep connection to the Gospel message - that God loves us, that Jesus died for the forgiveness of our sins, and that the gift of salvation is free to all that believe in, and accept Jesus as their savior.  That salvation is an act of faith, and not from any work we can do.  Chris has a heart to serve and has grown into a deeper connection to the local community since attending Gospel Life Bible Church and participating in many serving opportunities.

Kim waters

Worship Leader

Kim has been leading worship at Gospel Life Bible Church since its launch in 2019. Kim and her husband, Sean, who are both high school teachers, have been married for 12 years and have two earthly children, Abigail and Rowan. Kim grew up in Genoa and came to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior in the same building we are currently meeting in when it was Genoa Foursquare Gospel Church. She learned how to play piano in what is now the children's playroom when she was 12 years old and has loved playing it ever since. Music has always played an important role in her relationship with Christ, speaking truth into her heart and bringing peace and comfort in times of trouble. She is in awe of the mysterious ways that God works and how He has led her back to the same building where it all began so many years later.

dina riggs

Children's Ministry Co-Leader

Dina and her husband Chris moved to Genoa in 2016 and joined Gospel Life Bible Church in July of 2021.  She remembers loving Jesus at an early age, was baptized in her early twenties and has experienced a deeper love for Jesus over the years. Dina loves serving children and families and believes that children learn best through play, songs, and structured activities. She grew up caring for kids as her mom provided childcare services from home. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development and started her career as a pre-school teacher.  While her career moved her away from solely serving children, her heart to serve them never faded and it shows in her care of Gospel Life Bible Church’s Children's ministry and Summer Reading Program.

Nicole esposito

Children's Ministry Co-Leader

Nicole and her husband Nick, moved to Genoa in July of 2018 and welcomed their first son, Lincoln, not long after in October that same year. The family recently welcomed another son, Theodore into the world in November of 2022. Through the highs and lows of life, Nicole always felt a strong connection with God and had been apart of many different churches and programs; but it wasn't until this past year, a powerful yearning for a deeper knowledge and stronger relationship with God is what brought Nicole to Gospel Life Bible Church. Since then, she has been connecting with Members and the community of Genoa while also working at a preschool in town. Connecting with children comes naturally with a positive demeanor and sensitivity to their needs. Nicole feels a huge responsibility in being apart of their spiritual growth as they learn and worship.
